WHEW! So i decided since Im done with school (forever, thank god, so long) that im going to get a pick-up for my winter beater and keep my baby under a nice car cover, tucked away, sleeping, all necessary measures, etc. etc. etc...

Last night I was driving my friend home, both of us (in a different state of mind) laughing talking about non-sense. As we continue on our journey, BLAM, WHAM, HOLY F*cKinG **** WTF WAS THAT!
I barely saw a flash of brown right before all of this commotion.

So, id say about a 165-195 lb. deer ran at full speed out of a field moving from my left to right into the road. Lets just say it didnt make it all the way to the right. ONLY her head hit my truck, specifically right in my headlight housing (holding my HID kit) smashing it to pieces. The rest of her body, swung around and smashed into my driver side fender. Pressing it into my door. So now when i open my door i get that nice crunching, screeching sound from my door. She was toast for any of you who are still wondering about the dam deer.

So overall, i need to buy a new headlight housing for my truck, (the junkyard is saying $75!) my HID bulb still works miraculously, there is a small dent on my hood, and the dent in my fender Fu*k*ng with my door.

So....

Bag of Haze - $20
Gas for Trip- $6.89 (its a carborated V8)
Total Bill for needed parts and labor - $125-$150

Hitting a deer with my Winter Beater who takes it like a champ as opposed to my EJ8 that ive slaved over for 2 1/2 years..... - PRICELESS

Man thank god it was the truck and not the car because that is one clean car. are those carbon rear view mirror or just black, if carbon were did you get them because im lookin for carbon ones that are resemble the stock ones.

i was going 45-50.. i think for as hard as i hit it, it didnt do anywhere near as much damage as i thought it would...

yea a deer can easily total a honda. lucky for you .. The radiator in my winter beater went (91 mazda 323) so I had to drive my honda for a couple days til it was fixed. Well I hit some ice and flipped my 93 hatch on the roof. Liability insurance and I still owed money on the car

 

omg my mouth just hit the bottom side of the magma spewing from the volcano in japan right now.... (aka through the floor and the earth all the way....yea)

nah idk if i do, when i first got it back out form the shop they couldnt get my rear lip on correctly, kinda looked like a sad face hanging off of my bumper. Ill take a look see if i can find some shots....
