I am in the process of putting an LS B18B1 motor into my 92 EG hatch. The tranny is also a LS tranny.
My only real goals are to boost the car and get ~200-250whp and to stay close to my budget.
I have about 1200 dollars. Can it be done? (I will do the work myself!)
I know that I am going to need a turbo that will spool sooner and prevent lag.
Flame me if you need or want, I read through the LS-T Thread and its all scattered and hard for me to understand. I am just trying to learn....

1200 is pretty meager bro, It CAN be done, but its gonna be super sloppy. If you shop around you can prob pick up turbo, manifold, Dp, intercooler for around 800ish, then you still need injectors, some kind of tuning (crome, hondata, either way you need chipped p28 ECU) BOV, oil feed, oil return, tapped oil pan (for your oil drain) definately want to look into if your turbo will need oil restricter, or if it is watercooled and oil. A LOT of variables here. Serach button is your friend, you will find tons of useful information here. And I actually have a partial turbo kit for sale that would get you started for relatively cheap. 1200 will get you close, but in my opinion you will need at least 2k, all said and done with GOOD TUNING......! dont skip out on tuning.
Ebay Turbo kit plus fmu(30) plus walbro 255(90) and stock injectors with street tires got me a 13.3 @ 107 in a full leather interior acura integra GS it was a 2000 with over 100,000 miles if you care to know .
