I'm about to order a pair of c pillar bars for my del sol. But i dont know where to connect them in my cars cabin? If someone did this before, can you please guide me through? Btw if i posted this in the wrong forum sorry.. Mods can move it.

Okay so where did you connect the bar up too? Theres like no where i can think of, where the bolts would hold it in place.. Did you connect the bar to the seat belt part on the side?

 

my b-piller bar is mounted at the seat belt bolts.....

 

but mine was a 95 coupe

 

hemmm i see... i think the seat belt bolts are the only thing that can hold mine up then.. im out of thoughts.

 

it bolts to the seat belt area. you need to cut off the plastic covering, then unbolt the screws and while you bolting u need to stretch the bar until tight..

don't think so...they are very well mounted.

 

He was refering to how high it is mounted... never know until it happens, god forbid.

 

ummmmm.... that link is about a racing harness. has nothing to do with the pillar

 

i know its off topic but it is a saftey issue, but can i mount the belts to where the back seat bottom cushion used to be bolted down... it has 14 mm bolts there....

I dont think that the seat belts will do their job is you move them to that place. unless you have over the lap seat belts and not over the shoulder

 

its high because that's where the bolts are. i have pillars, bars all over the car. and they where placed by a shop. and yes it is my car! but thanks for the concerns...appreciated
