d16y8 Head On d16z6 Block
When I swapped a z6 head onto y7 block, I bought some ARP headstuds for the y7 but ran into the same problem, 2 studs (one on far left, far right of the intake side) are different, I had to use 2 stock headstuds... hopefully that helps
lol i have a Y8block witha a Z6 head and we had the problem, with the studs not going in right (because we had all D16Y* Studs). We fixed it by forging a piece to make up for the difference so that it would torque down.

9 head studs/bolts for the block you're using, and 1 head stud/bolt specific to the head you're using.
