b16 arp headstuds in ls vtec?

so just for every one to know the b16s worked just fine.. and they is about 3 threads sticking out of the nut after being tourqed.... i compared them to my buddies arps and were around a 1/4in shorter but worked just fine..
you wont think they are fine, when your strip the few threads they are enguaged into, in the block. we use the GSR studs on the ls/vtec combo for a reason.....

Yeah....we snugged the ARP B16's in the block like their supposed and used a .030 cometic headgasked and put the head down and torqued the nuts to about 82ft/lbs and everything went very smooth. There is about 3/16 of the stud protruding from the nuts which is plenty. So for future reference, B16 head studs worked for us on Ryans LS/VTEC. There is nothing sketchy about it.
