Default Accord Wont Start?

Well I went outside to today and decided that I would drive my moms old 05 Accord(she just recently got the Azera). Well I try to start it and nothing. Everything lights up and you hear the seatbelt buzzer and the eletric fuel pump? but then I turn the key again and nothing. Some of the guages go a bit crazy for a second. Ever since my mom got her new car(mabey a few months ago?) The accord just sits in the driveway and we've had some pretty frigid temps(like in the negatives) and alot of snow so im wondering if I let it sit for a while(i took the foot of snow that was on top of it off) and warm up would it work again?

Try jump starting the battery first. It may just be a partially drained battery.

I was thinking that. The only problem is trying to do that lol. I dont have any jumper cables with me and I cant really go and ask my mom because she dosent know took the spare key(for some god awful reason she'd rather let it sit than me take it out a few times to keep it from just rotting in the driveway).

I just went through the same thing. I could turn the key and listen to the radio for ever and everything would light up but the key would turn all the way. if i turned it real fast about 3 times it would act like its going to start. I took it to honda and they ran some test on it and found out it was the starter. i changed it and haven't had a problem. i bought a new one for about 110 and changed it myself

It's time for the 3 year old (OEM?) battery to go. The CCA maybe low, even thou the battery is still "good." What is the plan with the car?

If she is going to sell the car, then maybe you can try start and run the car around the block once in a while. If you plan to keep the car, look into a new battery.
