Ok....not sure if this is on here some where or not but any way...I got a 96 HB....with d16y7....bottem half built...high comp pistons...y7 head...with a y8..intake mani..,header..cold air..msd cap coil...bla bla bla..other bs....but scens i put the built motor in...say 2 months after...my car started shutting down at 5grand in 3rd gear...later 4th gear...any where from 4,500 to 5g's...its like its redling...complet shut down...let off the gas a sec...push it back then it revvs a lil higher an shuts back down...I've replaced the fuel pump about 4 months b-4 the swap...scense this has started i've got new plugs...dis.cap...then a MSD cap along with a extarnal coil...fuel filter..my fuel pressure at the rail is 40...I just dont know what it could be...i got a cel a week ago my number 1 O2...i went ahead an rest the ecu an scens havn't had it come back...at this point i'm clue less

 

anyone got anything on this....i've tried searching...an that search sucks ***...

 

Ok last time i'm tring on this forum...if anyone has anything on this i'd love to know...ideas...smart *** comments....i dont give a phuk....anything that might help...

 

it might actually be your ignition switch in the column. i don't know about the revs being related, but honda had an update for it because they had cars stalling out while driving. it might go by vin, but call a local dealer and talk to there service manager. i know the service manager at my dealer seems to have like every bulletin memorized and he might be able to tell you something.
