Hey guys i just bought my little bros 95 civic for $400.. he decided jsut to sell the car because it over heats and just failed the smog this smog... the shop wher he got it smog said that the radiator fan might be the problem thats why the car overheats at high rpm... now, i decided to just get a same motor with less mileage sncie his car has over 18xxxx and thers oil leaks everywher... now my question is, is ther any write up or anything that shows u how to remove the motor?.. i know some basic some but never done a swap before... by the way thnx for all the help u guys really appreciate it.. oh yea this is my other project beside the civic... heres some pics.. thanks again!!!!!

it could be the thermostat...could be the head gasket. you can check the both of those and maybe and hopefully all you need to do is replace either of those. happened to mine and it was the head gasket. check to see if the head is warped too if it comes to that. another thing that can be wrong is the water pump....so thats all i know
or your radiator could be bad now, but it could be a matter of any problems, as one has stated already.. could be the water pump, head gasket(check for water in the oil), thermostat, or as I stated the radiator.. my car overheated for a while, and I changed the thermostat and all.. it ended up being my radiator.. take your thermostat and put it in some boiling water and see if it opens or not.. if it doesn't it's bad...
