Default Another oil return line question...

I am just wondering if my oil return line is alright. It goes straight down and has a curve up and around the downpipe which goes into the oil pan.

The part the concerns me is that people are saying there should be no positive slope, but the incline is VERY slight and heres a pic..

Thanks!

I'm gettin dizzy trying to orient the pic, but I'd put a heat sleeve around it.
Turbo noob here, don't know if that slight rise will lead to poor drain or not, need some experts opinions. Up

lighting of the pic is cool

A very slight incline is a postitive slope, go pour some oil on a positive slope and see what happens. Best scenario is the size of the line still allows some oil to drain freely because it builds up. Go buy some AN bends/angles and do it properly

yeah i had a similar setup. a 45* on each end of the line will take care of that. in that pic it almost looks like a 45* at the pan and a slighly short line should be fine

Ill try it the way it is, if not ill just cut it a bit also does anyone know if any hardware stores would have those 45 degree fittings or would it have to be some kind of performance shop?

Just tap the opposite side of the pan, near the tranny. There should be enough room to drill and weld a fitting on there.
