oil pressure ?????maybe a problem

Default oil pressure ?????maybe a problem

ok when my car idles it reads like 5 or 600 sometimes when im sittin at a light or wutever but its more like 700 because of teh inacuracy of teh stock tach but my oil pressure drops below 35 psi at idle could my pump be going??? i have never delt with a honda oil pump before help a fella out

if you got 35 psi at idle when hot, your doing great!

700 rpm idle, 20 psi HOT.

mine goes down to about 20 at idle.

also depends where your sensor is mounted...

I have about 18psi HOT@idle....but my sensor is located in my turbo feed line.

i have a mechanical gauge never really used electrical gauges havent had problems before with any of my cars
