Default First swap

i found a 94 hatch that i will be buying soon. It has a high mileage d series in, not sure which. I was lookin to do a motor swap, and a lot of people directed me to hmotorsonline.com.

I was lookin to do a b16, but as far as options theres quite a few. I was thinking about a b16a from a crx SiR. any input? i dont know the stats compared to other b series motors.

not exactly looking for most torque or hp. simply putting a b series in for personal preference.

If you're going for a B-series, I'd recommend the B18C1...best bang for your buck IMO.

i was looking into a b18c, but the full conversion (with ecu, harness, half shaft, and axles) was quite pricier than the b16a's

im just lookin to go dual cam for show purposes, not lookin to boost. im gunna repaint the car, engine swap, wiretuck, and show it. id rather show a b series than a d series.

itll also be a dd, so the 19X,XXX miles on the d series thats in it is reaching its limit. i know hondas go forever, but its up there mileage-wise.

read through that, it was under the thread titled Engine swaps info that's sticky'd at the top of the page.

You need a OBD1 B16 to save alot of headache. It will be newer, have a hydro tranny and wiring will be minimal.
