i have a 96 civic cx. i tried to hook up obd2 scaner to read codes and it says...."unable to connect". i really havent started to look at this problem. where should i start? can it be a fuse? the green plug on the wiring to the ecu is pluged. any input on this problem is deeply appreciated. thank you my h-t family.

 

i know you chould get power from one of the pins, i think 16 is ground and one of them ahould be power, cant remember, it may be that the wire connector is a lil bent and is not connecting to your scanner

 

Time to convert to OBD1 for that chipped ECU....

look inside to make sure that a pin hasnt broken off.

 

Check your fuses as well.
