sumping gas tank, gotta ?
im about to make a fuel tank sump and was wandering about the whole's that need to be drilled in the bottom of the tank. i think its competition engineering's sump that has the template that tells you to drill 5 2-1/2" holes, but i was wandering if it would be better to make more holes with a smaller diameter and have them more towards the center of the sump. i figured this might keep the fuel from sloshing out of the sump while cornering better than having bigger holes near the edges of the sump.
anyone have any input on this, good or bad idea??

i cut mine out in a square but i left a 1" edge around the sides.
i wouldn't really worry about it sloshing around, maybe if you have less than 1/4 tank, but that last 1/4 goes so fast i don't have time to worry about it.
