Default Racepaks 400hp project.

sup everyone,

just wanted to share my project with you guys.

if you can remember a few years back i had a turbo d14,
i had it turbod for about 3 years and then i sold my turbo kit so gather funds for my new setup ( i sold my diy kit for 2K ) .
i drove the d14 NA'd for about a year+ and then swaped it out for the d16.

setup i'm runing for 4 months now is:
75.50 vitaras
eagle rods
milled block (cant remember how much i did)
aem cam gear
59300 cam
slightly ported and polished head, (had to replace it about two months after installed the engine due to fu*ed up plug thread)
venom i'm
arp's and cometic gasket
vented valve cover
action 2ms

my turbo parts are:
57 trim .63ex
miniram manifold
tial 38mm
tial bov
3" dp and exhaust
precision 780

so i got the first engine. and it was too messed up,

so i had to get a different one.

I was cool until I saw the fart can, and then an aluminum pulley right after. That's 2 failures in a row, you only get 1 more before a permabadn. Other than that, it looks like you're making a pretty clean setup.

You are still in Israel, right?

Your spending a lot of money on good/decent parts. My only question is why wouldn't you get a good set of pistons? CP, Arias, Wiseco's? Vitara's are ok but they certainly aren't the best. Most people use them for a budget build and it doesn't seem like your on to much of a budget. Thats gonna be your weakest link I don't know why you went with those but to each his own.

I would have thought the Vibrant mufflers would be on ebay (someone sells most of their other parts), and sometimes Summit Racing puts parts like that on ebay. They sell Magnaflow, which offers a 3" in/out, and people here love them. The fart can shouldn't sound that bad, since the turbo helps reduce the raspiness of a 4-cyl motor. If I didn't run a stock muff + e-cutout, I'd go with a Magnaflow resonator and a 4x9 Magnaflow muffler.

well besides the look it should be fine.
i'm gonna weld a 45 deg angle to the outlet so itll attract less attention, plus i'm gonna paint it black,

which piping are you running to the stock muffler?
