Just try resetting it by disconnecting the battery cable, And if it's still staying on then go to AutoZone or somewere and have them run the code.

reset it by diconnecting the battery, and
if it comes back on, then run the light to
see what the problem is and if tps comes
up you know thats your problem....

Just throwing this out there, but for obd1 you don't have to scan for a CEL. You can just use a jumper wire. <https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=878010>

its easy to get the code yourself. take off the glovebox. you will see a female connection with TWO wires from it just sitting ther to the right behind the dash. now jump that connection, insert piece of wire, paper clip etc into the metal pins(with ignition off) after jumping leave it jumped, turn the ignition on but dont start the car, and watch the engine light blink. 1 long blink is the first diget, the short fast blinks are the second. for example, 2 long blinks, 3 short blinks = code 23 understand?
