clearing a check engine light

how do i clear a vehicle speed sensor code?

AFTER you fix it
pull the battery negative cable or ecu fuse for at least 10seconds

thing is that i put a brand new sensor on tranny and i still dont have any speedo and it still throws a check engine light....

Check terminals on coil that always seems to be the problem.
