Primary OBD1 o2 senor same as Primary OBD2 sensor?

Primary OBD1 o2 senor same as Primary OBD2 sensor?
So at this point, from the research I have done, it looks like the OBD2 primary and secondary sensors are identical with the exception of length (secondary is longer) and the secondary also has a grommet to seal the underbody from moisture.
Now, I have access to a bunch of 4 wire OBDI primary o2 sensors and I was wondering if I could use two OBD1 primaries for my OBDII car. Is this doable?
The plugs look identical and they are both 4 wire sensors.
Any input greatly appreciated.
