What do you guys think it is?

Everything is normal when I put the key in all lights on the dash come up, windows and radio still work fine so its not the battery?

When I turn the key nothing happens just the dash lights flickers, then after several tires, I remove the key put it back in then it works.

Is this a bad starter? battery? ignition?

check the wiring going to the starter make sure they are not loose, second the next time this happens tap on the starter a few times and see if it starts up. hope this helps

 

replace the wire from the valve cover to the front of the car by driver head light. to prove my theory next time it wont start have someone hold a piece of wire from the point were the wire starts on valve cover to a good body point and try to start it.

 

yes, if the female connector is not plugged up to the starter, then this could cause the problem. Banging on the starter can also determine if you have a bad starter also.
