k pau (finished) with the front, the guy was nice enough to have it on shocks already and it still was only 50 bucks
i'm gonna do the back tomorrow, the thing with eg front shocks on an ek is where you bolt on the brake lines, the ek you DO NOT need the bracket for the brake line, so make sure it is facing OUTWARDS because if it doesnt face out wards the bracket will scrape against everything lol, or better yet, just cut it off, also ek and eg rear shocks are both forked, they seem overall the same length, but some difference, so it still should bolt right in, heres some pics yo

did the back, everything is bolt in....found out myLCA is slightly bent....heres the finished product.....

all you have to do is unbolt the arm that bolts to the lca, connected to the strut.
and swap them.
easy fix.
so yes, the struts and springs are interchangeable for eg/ek.
i have done it. i know it works.
