? ? ? Best way to get 20 more whp N/a ? ? ?
As my sig shows i have a 2000 Civic Si with AEM CAI. What's needed to get around 20 more whp N/A ? Not milling the block or stroking it. Cams, header exhaust.... what kinda hp we lookin at here??
H/E + cams (Type R, Toda B's, Skunk2 S2's, whatever) and cam gears should net you about 20 whp. Just make sure you snag yourself a VTEC controller and hit up the local dyno.

I forgot to add...an aftermarket cat could do you good too. While you're at it, you could remove the PS and A/C.

a good way to extract some hp from the car is get some mild cams, cam gears, vtec controller, chip ecu, fpr and fuel injectors.
afterwards get the car dyno tuned.
that should get you 15+ whp.
if you want more hp you have to get some headwork done such as port/polish and some internals put in the head then you can run a bigger cam

You might want to look at putting a full exhaust system on it or just some better flowing pipe and a header. Not gonna give you 20hp but will help out some.

how about changing your final and doing a much needed lsd? justa thought i guess..
lose PS (you don't need it on a civic, regardless), good header, good exhaust, TODA cams and your average AEM CAI and you're set. don't forget to tune.
Out of curiosity when you guys say pull the p/s are you guys :
1. just pulling the belts?
2. pulling the belts and pumps then plugging the power rack?
3. getting a manual rack and swapping it in ?

What's the Si Dyno at Stock 140 whp right? OH... and can i do this without making my civic sound like an annoying ricey fart pipe? That would be really nice ;-)

if u dont mind 40 + HP just throw on and Jackson blower..u wont have tp put on any other mods unless ur looking to upgrade ur exhaust and ignition
