JDM R cams good prices?
What is a good prive for 98 spec used ITR cams w/ around 10k miles?---am looking at 340+ shipping(13k miles)...
Also, for CTR spec with same amount of miles...
what kind of good price should I shoot for on both...what have people been getting? also any 00 si experiences with TR cams...

I paid $400 for my CTR's. I think anywhere around 300-450
is pretty reasonable for R cams.
edit** For both I'd say $700-$800

Re: JDM R cams good prices? (00civicsimobstyle)
is it worth 60 bux more for the CTR cams?
some will say no. At the time I bought mine, the ITR were going for
the same price, so for me it wasn't really a concern.
The 2000/2001 one ITR cams are the same as the CTR cams.
The 99 and below are a little less aggressive (not much).
Here are the specs:
2K+/CTR
Int-243 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift
ITR through 1999
Int-240 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift

do you use your stock internals with them?
edit** You can use the stock internals if you don't raise the rev-limiter.

I use my stock valvetrain right now but I only take my car up to 8400rpm
In my car I have CTR I/E cams and my valvetrain is still stock I've had no problems ,but I don't rev past 7600-8000. . You'll be cool. But if you remove the rev limiter be careful not to miss shift.

I'm using stock internals w/my CTR's, just doubled up on the exhaust valve springs, and I rev it to 8,500.......(sometimes higher )

Re: JDM R cams good prices? (rodrez)
I was thinking about keeping my stock si rev limit on and keeping my stock internals/ecu.....future vafc but not right away, xmas time most likely for the vafc...should I be fine?
I can get portflow inners(brand new) for 60 bones with my cams....should I get those?
how do these look:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1848655019
they look kinda fucked up, but i assume thats just how they look when they get taken out
