Default new suspention on the eg hatch...

ay guys,

im lookin to replace my cut stock springs that came with my car when i got it. (93 cx hatch) its riding really ruff. im looking for a dumped look. but its my DD so i wanna get it a smooth as possible. so any input on if i should get coilovers or just throw some springs on my stock shocks or watever...

About $885. If you want to upgrade to the Koni Sp3's it's $50 more and plus if you want extended tophats, that's more too. Optional though.

I have the SP3's and GC's with the extended tophots and I love it.

wow thats steep but its sounds good tho im kinda on a budget any body else have any suggestions??

don't waste your money on anything less. you'll just wind up buying these anyways. i have the ground control with illumina struts. rides great. they are comparable to the koni yellows, but from what i have read the koni's are a bit better. either way it's gonna be 700ish +. i honestly have 0 complaints from the illuminas though

well what you could do is buy a set of used koni shocks and they should still be in good condition. Plus you could always ship them off to get them revalved if they are too worn out. Honestly it is a little steep but you won't have to worry about buying a new setup as long as you own the vehicle. I cheaped out on my setup and I can tell you, my next setup is going to be the koni / gc setup!!!!!!

Btw, if you want more input I would suggest posting in the suspension forum!
