Full Coilover Combo For EG hatch koni/GC
Hi im planning to look for a set of full coilover setup for my stock civic VX. stock rims, body. this is my first mod and looking for coilovers online and heard of Koni and Ground control/ my price range is 700 buks and looking what to buy and thinking i want to rock the koni/GC since its good.
are the Koni and GC reliable for a stock vx i want to drop it for daily driven and some track, in near future.
does these things last long koni/gc combo? im very new to combos and set ups.
idk about the rates and things, what to go with, and all that. is it already set up as a good combo when i buy online. like how to adjust the shock when lowering it and making it higher.
and also is it easy to install and tune it??? do i need to buy anything else i heard i can use the stock mountings, bump stops etc.
anyone ever tried Koni GC w/eg hatches??

You mentioned in your title "full coilover"; the Koni/Ground control setup isnt a full coilover. its a coilover sleeve on a shock. Although for your price range, you could get a full coilover setup.
First, Yes the setup is very reliable, people have been using that setup for a long time and most folks have favorable reviews. Both GC and Koni are great companies. and the Koni are rebuildable, so if your slammed for a long time and they start showing their age, they can be rebuilt.
Second, search for "koni/GC' under the EG/EK forum, I got about 40 threads which should help you make a decision about spring rates and if this combo is best for what your plan on doing with your car. also check the suspension section; some serious guys in there.
To answer your last question; yes, this is a fairly popular setup with DC,EG,and EK folks. Also, yes stock mountings and I have always cut bumpstops in half when installing any suspension. Hope this help. Good Luck.

Koni/gc can put your car on the ground.
For rates, i would go with something around a 450f/400r. It will be stiff, but without spending a lot of money you cant have a perfect track car and a perfect street car at the same time and be comfy.
Adjusting the coilovers and shocks is very simple.
Koni/gc is a very good setup, most like to say it's the best for the money and i will agree.

Function and form are a great setup... Have had them on my eg for three yrs slamed and havent had one complaint. I street race and drive the car alot. You can get a full set for 630 shiped. I like them so much I just ordered a set for my rex.

I would go with koni/gc like most others said. Function and form are an ok bet as well, they can go low and ride close to stock I've heard, but koni/gc will be better for track use.
