H22A Engine Harness
They will do the same thing, and the jdm harness wil not have the plugs for the front water temp sensor, and possibly the vtec oil pressure sensor, since many jdm cars didn't have those.
the thing is that i have a 01 accord ... i bought a h22A from a 98 ... i want to get a obd1 h22 wire harness for it ... so if i get a usdm harness im going to have extra plugs? that would that throw a check eng. light right? im confused lol
anyone else have any ideas ... my plans are to run a obdI p28 ecu with a s300 hondata ... i want to use a plug and play engine harness for the H22A ... what harness can i use?
Yeah. Rob is right! With the H22 on the out of the car, fit the Accord harness to the H22. You might have to make minor mods,One at a time! Like lengthen the alt wire or add knock sensor or whatever else. Then use a OBD1 to OBD2 conversion adapter harness on the OBD1 ECU. Ive seen so many guys start cutting up harnesses and eventually getting lost.
i think im going to have to end up doing that ... i was just trying to save my harness in case i ever have to convert back to the F series motor ... thanks guys
