Default LSVtec water hose question

I put together an LSVtec motor, check out my homepage on cardomain for the specs, but anways I have a question about the swap. I swapped a GSR head onto an LS Block and everything worked out great, no check engine lights or anything and it's currently running great after 300miles. However I realized after putting the Vtec head on the LS block that I had an open waterline with nowhere to attatch it to so I just plugged it. I just want to make sure that I did the right thing by plugging it and I'm not starving somthing of coolant. Its the little pipe that comes out from the top of the front upper water outlet, right below the Vtec selenoid. On a GSR engine it runs from the head's water outlet to the back of the GSR block and connects to the thermostat case by a rubber hose. On a B16A head it runs from the water outlet and connects to the throttle body. But because its an LS block there is no nipple on the thermostat case for a waterline to connect to. Right now its plugged because theres no place to run it to. So my question is, do I plug that little pipe coming from the upper water outlet or do I run it somewhere else such as the throttle body like the B16 ? I know it sounds bad but if anyone has had experience with an LSvtec before they probably have some idea of what the hell I'm talking about. I searched and theres a million LSVtec threads and there all stupider questions than mine with no help on this subject. Thanks in advance.
