Default ls vtec serious coolant leak help please

Ok so last night i took my car, came home to realize there was alot of smoke coming out from under the hood and i could smell coolant, well where the upper radiator hose meets the head, there is a nipple that sits on that pipe and faces the back of the motor (im using a gsr head). I was told it did nothing so my motor took a bath in coolant last night. Could someone please take 2 mins to go out and look at there car, i have tryed diagrams but there no help. Thanks guys

Because i have ODB 2 b16 head and it has that nipple facing the back of the motor and for some reason the OBD1 ls block has a extra nipple on the water neck housing and i just connected the 2 but that is only if you have a OBD1 block and OBD2 head

yes thats the one, and i belive my block is obd1 and a obd1 head. I blocked it off and something was not right, it overheated and steam was everywhere i just cant figure out why its getting so hott, and it basically melted the line i used to block off the nipple. Also just wondering how hard ur car pulls ?
