is your camber zero'd out front and rear?

check your tire pressure, and resetting your ECU might've been the reason why it's doing that.

You sure youre not stomping on it all the time with the new intake? 30 mpg is about average in the city.

and also when i put the car in D or R from Parking it doesn't feel that much power is there.
Before the car used to move without pressing on the gas.

try adding a Fuel Injection Cleaner, And also check your PCV valve it might be stook closed, and check if the oxygen sensor is working properly, you can clean the mass air flow sensor that can help some what , and make sure you replace the fuel filter .

If it's burning gas as fast as you suspect it is, there ought to be visible emmissions...cloud of black smoke following you around is there ?

cold weather affects gas mileage due to longer warm up times and the winter gas. you live in NJ and winters there get pretty bad. ever driven the car in the winter before?

ok so you said it was right after the lowering. but was all this done near the same time? because just lowering it wont cause your mileage to drop like that with a good alignment. how did you clean the throttle and what parts did you clean? how did you reset the ecu? im betting it was one of these or the o2 that is doing it.

Gasoline have 2 blends, winter blend and summer blend. With winter blend gas your vehicle will get lower MPG since its formulated to aid in cold starts and aid in gasoline vaporization. Summer blend gas does not vaporize well in winter season. Lower MPG is partly due to the lower BTU rating of the winter blend gas as well.
Besides the gas blends taking a toll on your MPG other factors such as lubricants, road conditions, and more accessories being turned on during the winter will have significant toll on MPG.
Almost forgot to mentioned, lowering a vehicle will throw off alignment reading since the vehicle's ride height and suspension geometry is altered from stock. Remember alignment specs are for stock factory specd vehicles.

Where is this mass air flow sensor located?

OP have you changed the Fuel Filter? Possible weak pump or clogged injectors? Clogged Cat Converter?
