what up people got a free d16a1 today & wuz wondering if it would fit in my dx????(i was told it would if i use my tranny????) ne truth that

That's correct!
You will have to do a MPFI conversion to your DX engine harness and then plug in the A1's ECU and that's it!

This motor is from an 1g Integra right? If so from my understanding this motor will not fit without custom mounts, etc. Not worth the hassle.

not quite that easy - you will have to fabricate a driver's side mount - the driver's side mount on the A1 is on the front of the engine below the exhaust manifold, not on the end of the block like other engines - the transmission will almost bolt-up - you won't be able to get one bolt in without enlarging the hole in the block - it is the bolt at the bottom rear - the starter on your car has one long bolt that goes thru the transmission clutch housing into the back of the block - the A1 block does not have a hole for this bolt - you will need to drill and tap the clutch housing for a bolt

My bad... misread 'A6' (basic civic Si engine).

A1 is from integra.
