Icon6 B18c1 Engine stand bolt holes.

Hi All,

So I'm trying to get my B18C1 block on my engine stand and I ordered the Jegs universal engine stand bolt kit, which doesn't appear to fit.

I know you're supposed to use the bellhouse/tranny bolts/bolt holes, does anyone have a picture with call-outs to which holes they are? I only have a bare block currently.

Also, does the bolt screw into the block? or does it pass-thru and get a nut/washer on the end?

And my final question, is there a manual or some kinda of text with diagrams for this block with details such as these?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info and quick reply!

Unfortunately, I only have the bare block and a stand, no tranny or tranny bolts.

If I order the tranny bolts do they thread directly into the block or need buts/washers on the other end?

You can order the tranny bolts from Honda/Acura if you don't know the thread size. If they seem too long, pick up some washers from your local hardware store.

So, I picked up a few M12x65 1.25 bolts, which do not fit all the way through the engine stand adapter plate arm.

This is the stand I have.

I'm going to measure the length of the arm plus the length of the threaded part of the bolt to figure out the size, BUT if anyone has already done this and knows the correct length bolt I would appreciate the knowledge.

If not, no worries, thanks anyways!

I also purchased some 12x1.25 bolts for my b18c1 block to mount on the Trans. . Why is everyone saying that's what to use.. but I get 2 threads in and it stops..
