Default Inj., rail, mani question

All right guys heres the deal:
I have a edlebrock victor x intake manifold, a skunk2 composite fuel rail, and the new bosch saturated 1000cc injectors. Well heres the problem, when I go to install everything, there is about a 1/4 gap between the spacer and the rail. I'm using the spacers provided with the rail, as I do not have the spacers for the manifold. But I have another motor here with the same intake mani and he used the spacers from edelbrock. Well his spacers actually look smaller then the ones that came with my fuel rail. I guess I'm just seeing if anyone else has experienced this problem. I'd like to get some input before i start experimenting with these parts. I know I'm bad at explaining things, so please bare with me .
