fuel rail problem...
well i was bolting up my new golden eagle rail last night got the torque spec which was like 9 i think and went at it. Wasnt paying any attention and since i didnt have any problems with the stock rail and the injectors, didnt think i was going to hurt anything. I noticed the rail started getting crooked (pulled backward) so i stopped. Seems like i let it go a little too far and may have bent the tops of the injectors.
Question is, am i supposed to put some kind of spacer between the rail and where it bolts to the manifold? With he stock rail, i had the same gap between the rail and the manifold, but it bolted straight down torqued it to 9 and didnt have any issues. Now with the GE rail, it got really crooked...
sorry for the bad engrish, had a good night last night

Most of the aftermarket fuel rails require spacer. I have AEM fuel rail on my JG/Edelbrock manifold. It requires spacer. You need the #6 in the picture.
