Default Fuel rail insulators

I'm installing a skunk2 intake manifold using DSM 390 injecotrs. If I remove the fuel rail insulators, I can get the injectors seated correctly, but if I use any of the insulator even cut in half, the injectors are too short. Are there any other options, can I install without these insulators?? Or can I just get some rubber and install between the manifold and the fuel rail???

Are you refering to those plastic spacers that sit between the fuel rail and the intake manifold? If so you don't have to use them. When I was running an ITR manifold I didn't. Save them though if you ever change manifolds you may need them.

yep thats what I'm referring to. So just let the fuel rail sit directly on the mani and it wont cause any problems??
