Clutch Suggestions (2000 SI with Vortech H.O. kit)
Hey guys. Got a 2000 SI with a vortech kit. Going to do the clutch before I put the blower on. Any recomendations? Car will be a daily driver / drag racing. Any suggestions on flywheel as well?
Also looking for a quick install so i have been browsing around for shops. Any suggestions for Northern Illinois? I've heard of One6, Pro Function? Any otheres? Prices? Thanks
Ryan

I've always had good luck with ONE6. I've been going there since they opened.
I really like Exedy's clutches. The engagement is smooth, the quality is unbeatable, and the price really isn't bad. I'd go as mild as possible. Something like an Exedy stage 2 so you have good pedal modulation and pressure, low cost, but good torque capacity.
It all depends on how much power/torque your setup will put down, ultimately. You shouldn't need too agressive of a clutch.
Clutchmasters also makes a really good clutch. Me and my friends have had good luck with their stuff.
