Does anyone use the exedy racing clutch?
I was wondering how those hold up with conservative FI setups...like only 7psi or so...i like the price but dont hear much about them.

Well I am very impressed with my clutch, although I have yet to install it.
The quality is VERY good, and according to they're spec's it should be able to take around 300HP.

I used the Exedy Organic race clutch in my JRSC'd 2000 Civic Si. I had it for about 10k miles. It held 215whp/145wtq with no trouble. Overall, I was happy with it. One of the turbo guys (Napalm on Club Si) was making about 275whp with his Drag Gen III turbo and he was using the same clutch. He dragged that car without any trouble.

forgot to mention i have that clutch with the flywheel in my Integra, just hit 527 miles on it and tried dumping it last night, pedal pressure feels like stock, grabbed nice, i'll see how long it holds up.

I will be running my Exedy with my MaxRev Turbo. I've been told the Exedy will handle up to 300whp. I hope it does.

i have the exedy for a while now, its feels like stock now (probably cuz i am used to it). it grabs but its nothing tooo special.......if i had to do it again i would spend the extra 50 or so and go with the clutchnet or clutchmasters. i used to think 300hp would be enough but as i piece my kit together i want something that will hold 450ish

I'm kinda wondering...
If I swap the Organic disc of the EXEDY with say...a segmented disc from a Clutch master's stage 3...would that increase the power potential of the clutch?
I would think It would be just the pressure plate that would increase the potential, but the different friction material would provide a better initial "grip".
Am I thinking correctly?
EDIT: I'm not GOING to do this, but I am just thinking.
