im confused
when u swap an ls b18b1 into a 92eg that had a d15b7....do u have to convert any wires?? my homeboy told me he didnt convert any wires, he said that the ecu connected right up, but i thought u would need a different harness or something
Use same harness, if engine is and obd1 it should all plug up, except for a few that you'll have to adjust by extending the plugs. If the motor is obd2 then you'll need the obd2>obd1 jumper harness. Simple swap.
No, because your using the stock OBDI harness. In that case get an OBDI ECU, rewire the distributor, alternator and use the OBDI injectors. Trying to use a OBDII ECU and not having a CEL would be much more work.
bah, i worded that wrong obd1>obd2 jumper... thanks bro
