What would be a better engine to put into a Del Sol, a Type R or an H22A4? Or should I just save myself some money and put in a B16?

if youre going slalom ( daily driver ) = type R

Im going B18B in march..eventually turbo.

 

i wouldnt go w/ an h series in a sol. youd have to mod the hell out of the suspension, and peeps that have done it have lost power steering and ac, so if you need the ac and power steering, i wouldnt go for that swap. b series swap will suit you better. you should go ls/turbo instead of the type r motorswap, will cost around the same, or go b16a turbo. atleast that is what i'd do.

 

i talked to a guy at inlinepro about putting a h22a in my del sol and he told me it wasnt worth the money...

 

mounts+wiring (especially if you don't know what you're doing)+ecu...

It adds up

 

pretty sure b18c1 or b16a3 would be easiest of all

or go d16z6 turbo

 

i thought it was well worth the money.even though i did everything myself.

 

if i were u id put a b18 in there. I plan to do that to my sol soon.
