It's always good to get your car tuned after modifications. Its a MUST after you change cams/injectors/major engine part's.

What I always say is get all the bolt-ons you want before you tune. bolt-on's wont throw much off until you break into the engine excluding turbo/supercharger, some people will call those "bolt-ons"

that will save you time and money to do it once, but always wait to install cams/injectors the day before you go tune

from the list of mods you listed i would just to get the ecu chipped without street tuning. its cheaper and will make a difference wit the mods you have. now when you finish building your setup on the side that when i would dish out for a real tune. but thats just me

I personally would recommend just having the ecu chipped with a basemap, then having the car tuned once you get some cams or add a turbo etc.

^^ Talk to this guy and get a chipped ECU...skip the street tune for now. Also $250 for a street tune is rather spendy

Why can't you use your p75? What year/make/model is your vehicle ?

An obd1 p75 works the same as an obd1 p72 for your non-vtec b18 motor.

I would question the integrity of your basemap if the tuner didn't even know you could chip an obd1 p75.
Obd1 p75 ecus being tunable with any obd1 tuning solution on the market is common knowledge.

im also thinking he did it because the p72 was already chipped so it was easier to just replace the chip
