I doubt you'll find one. I made a thread about this not too long ago and the conclusion was straight thru = loud.

IMO, straight through means no resonator or cat, not just the design of the muffler. Any system set up like that will be LOUD.

Looking into the Apex'i World Sport 2, RS*R Exmag, or a custom system with a big resonator and Vibrant Flat Black/Stealth muffler.

Make one, I'm running 2.5 inch piping with a magnaflow resonator and mangflow stock looking muffler. Looks like a stock DA exhaust and sounds great.

Straight-through means no chambers or anything that re-directs exhaust flow. Resonators don't actually have anything that block or re-direct exhaust flow.

I thought the ES Oval was a straight-through muffler?

If you want quiet and straight-through, you need a twin-loop muffler. I installed a real-deal Mugen axle-back on a buddy's 00 Si back in college, thing sounded soooo damn good, not loud at all. It was definitely quieter than the straight-through dual DTM muffler I had on my old ricer Camry back in the day. :p

Where are you getting that idea? Of course a twin-loop is straight through. The piping has no chambers or anything to block exhaust flow. The pipe simply loops around to make 2 passes through the canister.

Now I don't know about the cheaper twin-loop mufflers, but the Mugen one was designed with the loop piping just the right length so that the noise from the exhaust pulses passing through each pipe in the canister would sort of cancel each other out. That's how they were able to make a relatively quiet, but straight-through muffler.

Yes it's a helluva lot to pay for a muffler (my buddy paid $500 and waited like 3 months for his axle-back section) but the stuff REALLY does work.
