Default vafc-1 hack... help meh

is there a hack for a n/a b16 tune for the vafc? or if anyone has their car tuned properly and they're n/a b series... let me know?

or if you could help me out by telling me what each setting does and whatnot... thanks

download the vafc manual from apex-i, what it does is give you the ablility to change fuel mixture +/- 50% i believe over a number of like 5 specified rpms, that and let you change the vtec crossover on rpm or map pressure or both i think

on a vafc it will never be properly tuned, since timing changes cant be made.

you can get it better, but it will never be as good as a tune with a standalone.

why not just get Hondata? the only thing useful on the vafc is the cool gauge displays and the ability to change vtec engagement.

changing the engagement is pointless anyway with that thing lol honestly i think you should sell it and get a stand alone

every car is different, every engine is different. cars like different settings. tune your car with your vafc. the vafc is caveman technology. again you cannot make timing changes. if you had a proper standalone, even crome, you will benefit much more.

looking back at your o.p. it says you wanted it properly tuned. idk why you are so defensive, but standaolne is the ONLY way that will happen.

vafc's always start arguments, they should be thrown out because they're a hack literally. What many people dont know is this, for the price of a vafc, if you do this yourself (so that means its not for everyone haha) you can get the chip from xenocron chip your ecu yourself for $20 then get it tuned at a local shop with crome, uber, neptune, or ectune for a couple hundred. 108920458294x better than a vafc, and the only way to go. boostedcivicsir is correct ftw
