Default Tuning ls/turbo crx

I plan on getting my crx dyno tuned. To do that do I need to get a jumper harness and change ecus or can it just be tuned the way it is?

If your car is OBD-0 then you can tune a chipped PR3 or PW0 with BRE but you will be limited in terms of tuning capablilities.

Plus not a lot of tuners are familiar with BRE.

A lot of dyno tuners don't tune obd0 systems anymore. Contact your local dyno tuners for information on this.

If you require to upgrade from obd0 to obd1 you will need an obd1 distributor, obd0 to obd1 harness & distributor jumper along with an obd1 chipped ecu running which ever engine management system your tuner supports.

Do I need to get a 4 wire o2 sensor for the obd0 to obd1 conversion?

No, you don't if the o2 sensor is disabled in the ecu.

You do not need a distributor jumper, but it makes it convenient. You can use either an OBD1 or OBD2 distributor. If your ecu tuner has disabled the O2 sensor, then you do not need the four wire O2 sensor as Mtber has stated. I highly recommend getting a quality ecu harness, distributor and ecu as wiring is something overlooked and cheaped out on so many times. First time you need a tow or have to pay someone to fix the mistakes, you will thank me.
