Wondering if anyone out there has played around with this combo and got it to work, in theory you should be able to but there is alot of electrickery in there, i was running a Motec M4 and an ignition expander which fed signal to the cdi and it fired accordingly, knew this wasnt going to work feeding the expander and it will only fire No 1 cylinder.

I have seen some units that will convert the single distributor signal into 2, making it possible to run a waste spark set-up with a cdi, im wondering if this is as good as it gets with this combo?

Like i said, this is all getting out of my electricial depth if it is possible to get it working, the Motec only used 2 of the 3 pickups and is able to convert that signal to something that the ignition expander and cdi can then use so can something be put in the middle?
