Get a tube of Hondabond from your local dealer. you should apply a touch of it at the base of the cam arcs. so 4 places on either side of the head.

The guys at Honda told me not to use Hondabond with the valve cover gasket. What do most of you peeps think? I really wanted more than 1 opinion on this subject.

I've had my Civic for almost 8 years now, never used HB on the valve cover gasket, never had a leak either!

I just changed my valve cover and didn't use honda bond. Seems fine to me. no leak. It will stay in place.

I use high temp silicon on the cam corners. can't hurt, only helps.
