Default track car interior rewiring

One of my projects for this off season is to rewire the interior of my track car. I want to remove the OEM fuse boxes, multiplex units (5Gen), turn signal stalks, ignition key assembly, all unused wiring, etc. I'll use the OEM engine harness and OEM ECU harness. Beyond that, I'd prefer to do the wiring all from scratch, with just the bare minimum.

I was thinking what would be needed would be:

ignition - switched
starter - momentary switched
fuel pump - switched
ecu - switched
Dash2 and DL1 - switched
ABS - switched
headlights (low and high) - switched
wipers (low and high) - switched
tail lights

Wiring is already in place for all the sensors on the Dash2 and DL1.

Has anyone done this? I'm curious if anything needs to be done with the ELD circuit, PGMFI circuit, etc. and if anything special needs to be done for the ECU (I'm using a P28 with NepTune RTP) grounds - there are power grounds and reference grounds.

as far as the ecu grounds go, as long as you are running the OEM engine harness you should be fine and not have to worry about anything with that.

I actually just sold my climate control unit and i was going to make it a switch panel for the fuel pump, ignition, burnout control, and whatever useless thing i could come up with. I havent even begun the research needed to get it done a) because the spec wiring and the connectors i want to use are not cheap b) i dont need to be spending money on things which work just fine for now.

I know you have a manual so as long as you follow the schematics then you shouldnt have any sort of problems.

just make sure when u go to cutting the wires that apear to be useless make sure you leave enough length somewhere that you can splice back into at a later point if needed for any reason. also might want to look at the s2000 set up for your ignition/start switches i have seen a civic done that way. check jegs/summit for some of the old hotrod switch panels they are usually not that high and painless wiring makes a really nice set up as well.
