Default backfire problem

what could be causing my crx with b16 to backfire when shifting gears any suggestions

is your ecu chipped? if not, maybe bad 02?

when a car is runnin rich it backfires because extra fuel getin into the exhaust an from the exhaust being so hot it ignites the fuel causin a backfire
check ur fuel pressure n wat injectors are u using

the motor is pretty much stock with skunk2 stage 1 cams, intake and exhaust. problem started when I swapped the header for stock manifold and the stock p30 ecu

how about when u swaped in the aftermarket cams.. did u time it correct? check the timing maybe its off by a tooth. loosen up ur dizzy retard it or set it ahead. i had a similar problem on my h22 when i shift thru gears around 4 to 5k rpm it backfired like crazy, found out it was one of the valves, but that might not be ur case

check your dizzy timing, you might be running rich also, and if i were you i would get some cam gears and degree them could be that too
