Default Transmission flush

How much to do a transmission flush? Average prices and places? Thanks.

About 60 bucks last time I heard at a repair shop. Ill do it for you in exchange for some hawaiian bbq lol

LOL that would be cool but I live in SF... So $60 is the average price for most shops?

sounds about right...
MTF should retail for 7-8 bucks/quart. Plus crush washers plus labor.

I heard Honda dealerships don't do transmission flush. Do they do just the drain?

Does it matter what brand of transmission fluid I get? Or should I stick with Honda transmission? Also, how many qts should I get?

i'd stick with honda mtf but many people use motor oil rated at 10w30 because honda mtf is couple dollars more for a quart. you only need 2 qts i believe

x2. Honda recommends Honda MTF or 10w30. I would get the Honda MTF. And yeah 2 quarts is a little more than what you will use.

About a year ago I put in GM Synchromesh Friction Modified because of all the great things I've heard about it, and it has been really nice. It should be though, it cost me $15 per quart. Next time, I'm just using Honda MTF, I can't believe I put GM product in my car in the first place.
