honda mtf3? tranny fluid help
so i finally dug up sort of a honda dealer here in germany, ive been trying to get honda genuine mtf but the only thing they have is mtf3 and they werent sure if that would be ok for how old the vehicle was. trans fluid is a new area for me. i know other people have said and in the service manual that 10w30 and 10w40 oil is ok but i wasnt sure if like synthetic is ok or regular. and then someone mentioned gm synchromesh. the guy at the dealer said they dont sell 1 qt bottles its one huge 5 gallon jug that they will only top off the car and not sell amounts out of it. so im just looking to see what most people use if they arent using honda mtf.

MTF3 = 10w-30 and that it is the new line of up Honda MTF.
(according to some google searchings)
some one had changed their transmission fluid on their 91 nsx using it. so my guess would be that it works on our older cars.
