D15Z1 Swap, need help with 5 CEL codes/ Also, can I use 88-91 prelude TPS?
Hello, thanks for the help in advance, please bump if you view.
I just finished bolting in my D15Z1 a couple days ago, it'll start but needs some TLC.
well, I just found 5 codes in my ecu: 7 (TPS), 10 (IAT), 14 (IACV), 22 (VTEC pressure valve), 41 (Primary oxygen sensor heater).
I thought that my engine has no VTEC pressure valve? where would I find this? I have only found the wire at the VTEC solenoid and connected it to A4.
Also, I thought my TPS, IAT, and IACV would work how I have them. I used an 88-91 prelude TPS on the D15Z1 throttle body, it's not adjust correctly, but I did switch the outside wires. I think I will just make a subharness with the TPS, IAT, and IACV tomorrow.
I haven't yet attached the O2 sensor so I expected this code, but expected the engine would still run okay without it for a few trial runs?
Another thing, I have yet to obtain or obviously attach an EGR control box (VX specific), but I didn't see a code for that? Do some codes take time to register or something? I mean I barely had the engine to operating temperature...not even, really.
Also, are the injectors numbered just like the cylinders? 1 is closest to driver's side and 4 being closest to the passenger side?

so my wiring is getting messier, but anyhow, I connected the tps and iat sensors. Now the engine will rev up and have some throttle control when I first start it, but if I let it idle for 20 seconds then it won't let it rev up again unless I restart it? Anyways, I'm going to try and connect the rest of my sensors, but it's freaking cold and windy so first I'm building a pvc hoop house tent. Hopefully I can make the wiring look better because it's very messy right now.
