DIY oil change?

Default DIY oil change?

Does anyone have a DIY oil change with pictures? If not atleast some clear intructions....

yes i've searched.

lol..uhm..go on youtube.com and type oil change..trust me u will find alot..i used a video as a speech demonstration in speech class..

jack up your car, support it on jack stands, locate your oilpan and there shuold be a bolt on there take out the bolt and drain the oil but have something to collect the oil then take out the filter which is up there if youre laying down on the ground, if your motor still has the OEM honda filter itll be blue, if not probably black or something take that out be careful cause oil will fall out then take some of the old oil dip your finger in it and rub the outside ring of the new filter and hand tighten it, no oil wrench needed, put the oil plug back in fill your motor with new oil and enjoy! might not be the most clear but you get the idea hopefully you can even google this up and google and find a video

you dont know how to change oil ??????????????????????????????????? i learned how to do that when i was like 10 or 11.

when i do this does the car have to be level? Or can i just jack up half of the car and then change it from there. I only have 2 jack stands

pull the e brake and jack the front up the drain plug and filter should be facing the rear anyways

take it easy man... some people just aren't grease monkeys like us... i learned how to change oil when i was like 6 or 7 working with my dad at a chemical transport trucking shop... learned how a turbo worked when i was like 10. been history ever since lol

oh and along with putting the e-brake up..but a brick behind each back tire..good luck..oh and open the fill cap in the engine bay wen ur drainning the oil lets air push some oil out quicker..ohh andd if u want..i do my oil changes hot..lol..the oil comes out like water...good luCK!
