Default ecu codes plz help

can someone tell me how to check the codes on a 6th gen accord, i did a few searches with no luck. the only threads the search pulled up were on civics and integras, i don't know if these how to's apply to accords. plz inform. thx.

with hondas you have to hook it up to a computer...no easy way to check.

i beg to differ. there's a way to check them by the number of flashes u get from the light on the dash.

I've heard of that on other cars, I.e. diamler chrystler cars, but when Ive had trouble with my accord and took it to a dealer, they said the only way was to hook up a computer. it is possible i suppose they were ripping me off, though, and didnt want me to do any work myself

I can't remember where it is on the 6G Accord, but it's a green connector behind the left or right side of your glove box.

You can short it out and the code will flash through the check engine light on the dash. Thats how I found my code 22 with my swap.

yea i found one on the right, do i put the paper clip into to the top or bottom connector? i'll post the code when i get if anyone can tell me what it means.
