I can hear the antenna motor running but the antenna doesn't come down. If I push it down when I turn off the radio it would go down. Would replacing the antenna mast fix the problem? Has anyone bought the ebay antenna mast and how did they work for you?

 

go to junkyard. after you check to see if you have any chipped or broken gears on the antennas grey plastic thing. also are you sure its your antenna and not your fuel pump. fuel pump sound like sligt buzz. antenna motor sounds loud if not working i have that problem now. its a very simple problem.
